Secular state or religious state ?
A secular state is a country where the state is keep separate from religion, and the state does not discriminate or favor persons based on their religious beliefs.There are 96 secular stated on the map of our world.
An Islamic state is a type of government primarily based on the application of shari'a (Islamic law), dispensation of justice, maintenance of law and order.Exact no. of Islamic states is not found but maybe 50+
A Christian state is a country that recognizes a form of Christianity as its official religion and often has a state church,There are 17+ christian states in the world.
There are no official hindu or jewish states in this world.
Are the religious countries ahead of the world ? -

If secular states had to be so, many countries of the world would have been so.....
It is true that either Religious state or Secular does not ensure progress of countries but still.....
No country except for Iran and Iraq have changed back to religious state from a secular state. On the contrary the last 250 years has seen a trend towards Secularism.Many Christian states have turned secular and adopted the Separation of Church.

Why countries across the world are choosing secularism over religious state ? Because - 1.need of the hour is to be impartial to all population. 2. Getting co operation of all religious groups in progress. 3. Avoiding fundamentalism [ For establishing religious states, groups tend to use all inhuman practices as we have seen in the history of the world ]
